LEAGUE CITY – Adam Morse tossed five touchdown passes to lead Port Neches-Groves to a season-opening rout of Clear Lake, 52-0, Saturday night in non-district action at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Indians amassed 484 yards of total offense, 178 on the ground and 306 through the air. PN-G’s defense was equally impressive. In pitching a shutout, the Indians allowed just 50 yards of total offense and intercepted Falcons quarterback Will Smith three times.
