Originating in the 1960s, the ‘Marching I’ is performed during the halftime show at all PN-G football games.
After forming the ‘I’, the Band, Indianettes, Silks, and Twirlers march to the end-zone while playing the PN-G fight song “Cherokee”.
The Marching I also stands for the IDEALISM, INNOVATION, INSPIRATION, INTEGRITY, INTENSITY, INVENTIVENESS and INDOMITABLE spirit of the PN-G Nation.
For PN-G Indian fans, no other moment better exemplifies the great PN-G school pride, spirit and tradition.
