Final sales figures for Port Neches-Groves ISD season football tickets show only a handful of seats remain unsold in the center section of the newly renovated stadium.
Becky Romero, head of athletic ticket sales, reported there are a total of 4,586 seats located in the reserved seating sections. Of those, 3,801 seats have been reserved this season.
“Actually, this is the best season of sales that I’ve had in the last four years,” Romero wrote in an e-mail Friday afternoon after ticket sales closed.
Most of the empty seats are located in section F, the section bordering the general admission seating, Romero wrote.
Prime sections – those at the center of the stadium and surrounding the center – are sections C, D and E.
Section C, next to the band, has 55 unsold seats, while 106 unsold seats remain in section E.
Center section D has only nine unsold seats remaining.
None of these figures includes row 1, which is wheelchair and companion seats.
