KEEGAN SWANN, Port Neches-Groves and RICKY WILSON, Lincoln – When PN-G edged Lincoln, 20-14, in an exciting 20-4A war at The Reservation, Two players excelled with outstanding performances, one for each side. Lincoln junior Ricky Wilson had the better offensive game, delivering 127 tandem yards by running for a 77-yard touchdown midway in the fourth quarter and catching five passes for 47 yards. Wilson also graded 84 percent on defense with seven tackles and three assists. Wilson’s game was equalled by another junior cornerback on the Indians’ side. Keegan Swann intercepted two first-quarter passes, returning one for 54 and another for 20 yards. Most importantly for the winners, those pickoffs averted two Lincoln visits into the red zone. Swann also was involved in six tackles while limiting Bees’ receiver Daniel Francis to one catch for two yards.
