An all-state selection as a sophomore, junior and senior, Gordon LeBoeuf finished his high school career with 5,110 rushing yards and 49 touchdowns. He led the state in rushing in 1955 with 2,150 yards and was selected to the high school All-American team.
LeBoeuf played football for Bear Bryant at Texas A&M and is mentioned in the book “The Junction Boys”. He was drafted by the New York Titans in the 1960 AFL draft.
LeBoeuf, along with fellow running back Bobby LaBorde, led the Indians to three straight state final appearances from 1953 to 1955 including two state championships in ’53 and ’55. Also known as “The Touchdown Twins”, the two combined for 7,987 rushing yards and 78 touchdowns during their high school careers.

Following his outstanding football accomplishments at every level, Gordon LeBoeuf led a successful executive career. LeBoeuf returned home to Port Neches for the final time on December 21, 2009. He remains the greatest running back in PN-G history.
